The following information is from the  Anglers' Guide to the Lakes and Streams series  published by the State of California- Department of Fish and Game and now out of print. The Anglers' Guides consisted of a map and the charts I've reprinted below. Each Guide focused on a different area of the state. I believe that there were between 13 and 15 guides.
